Looking for a clinic-based CMA role with a predictable schedule, no weekends, and real room to grow? We're placing a Certified Medical Assistant in a small, close-knit primary care clinic in Appleton, Wisconsin — day shift only, Wednesdays off, and a genuine opportunity to convert to permanent for the right person.

Weekly Schedule:

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Wednesday: OFF
• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

️‍⚕️ What You'll Do

This is a small, one-provider clinic — meaning you're not a number; you're the team. You'll split your time between clinical and administrative duties, keeping the practice running smoothly for the NP, the on-site behavioral health therapist, and every patient who walks through the door.

Clinical:

• Perform phlebotomy (required daily function)
• Room patients and document accurate vital signs
• Administer injections, immunizations, and medications per provider orders
• Perform point-of-care testing
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies

Administrative:

• Answer phones and schedule patient appointments
• Manage faxes and incoming/outgoing clinical documents
• Document patient interactions accurately in Epic EMR
• Support providers with prior authorizations and referral coordination

Requirements

• ✔️ Active CMA certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or equivalent) — required
• ✔️ Phlebotomy skills — required
• ✔️ Comfortable handling phones, scheduling, and fax management
• ✔️ Point-of-care testing experience
• ✔️ Comfortable with injections and immunization administration
• ✔️ Available for the full contract: August 3 – December 20, 2026
• ✔️ Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri availability — Wednesdays off

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Epic EMR experience — strongly preferred
• Prior primary care or family medicine clinic experience
• Familiarity with prior authorizations and referral workflows
• Experience with chronic disease management patient populations
• Bilingual a plus
