WAS Safety Inc. is seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our team as Traffic Control Flaggers . This is an entry-level, safety-sensitive role ideal for those who enjoy working outdoors, value responsibility, and want a hands-on career without the need for a college degree.
Position Responsibilities
As a Traffic Control Flagger , you will be responsible for:
- Setting up, maintaining, and monitoring safe work zones using approved traffic control equipment
- Directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic using stop/slow paddles and hand signals
- Communicating clearly with crew members to ensure safe operations at all times
- Providing professional, courteous service to clients and the public
- Following all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Participating in ongoing training with opportunities for long-term growth within the company
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8–12 hours)
- Ability to lift and carry 50–60 lbs as needed
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and traffic conditions
- **Must have **National** Flagging Training Certificate through ATSSA.
- OSHA 10 and TMA Certificate are a plus.
