Starting Pay: $17-$18/hr plus weekly OT (negotiable based on experience)The full-time Yard Associate will act as a material handler and forklift operator to build loads for deliveries while maintaining a safe, clean and well-organized lumber yard and warehouse. Duties include:Building loads for delivery and unloading freight including lumber and building suppliesForklift training, certification, and operationCommunicating delays or discrepancies with managementMaintaining lumber yard and warehouseOther duties as assignedResponsibilitiesAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-oneMust be able to periodically lift up to 80 poundsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)QualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)84 Lumber Company is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
