Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associate Madison, MS Sam’s Club #8271 257 Grandview Blvd Madison, MS 39110-5514 Position Summary Prepared foods and rotisserie chicken associates handle daily food preparation, including following recipes, cooking rotisserie chickens, wrapping and labeling merchandise, and maintaining a clean, organized production area to ensure quality for members. Responsibilities Follow recipes and food safety standards while preparing fresh food items. Cook rotisserie chicken and other prepared foods to consistent taste and quality. Wrap, label, and store merchandise in proper temperature-controlled environments. Monitor and control product temperature, expiration dates, and quality to meet safety requirements. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the production area and sales floor. Assist members with bakery and other in-store orders. Respond to changing production needs and adapt to new tools or procedures. Support team members by sharing knowledge and helping with cross‑functional tasks. Report and address any product or equipment issues, and help maintain accurate inventory. Minimum Qualifications Minimum age of 18 years. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Basic knowledge of food safety practices (Food Handler Certification preferred). Preferred Qualifications Experience in a food preparation or retail environment. Comfort with digital tools for inventory and quality monitoring. Salary Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00 per hour.
