Debt Finance Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Debt Finance Associate to join its Finance Practice Group in Chicago, IL. The associate will engage in a variety of debt finance transactions, supporting clients in drafting, negotiating, and executing financing documents. Duties Represent clients in drafting and negotiating financing documentation. Advise on credit facilities and financing arrangements. Collaborate with partners and attorneys across practice groups. Manage day-to-day aspects of transactions from initiation to closing. Interact directly with clients to advance transactions efficiently. Requirements 3-6 years of debt finance transactional experience. Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple matters effectively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Sound professional judgment and client service orientation. Education JD from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications Active member in good standing of the Bar in the jurisdiction(s) where admitted. Timely admission to the Bar of the hiring office's state required.
