Assistant Appraisal Manager

Assistant Appraisal Manager - Rockford, IL RAC Adjustments, Inc. We are currently recruiting a high-quality individual to join our team in the Rockford, IL area for the position of Assistant Appraisal Manager. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years vehicle estimating experience, agricultural and specialty equipment preferred. Management experience is a plus. JOB REQUIREMENTS Driving to loss locations is required; must hold valid driver’s license and have clean driving record Ability to occasionally work during non-standard business hours Travel required when necessary; including overnight stays Strong organizational and clear communication skills Ability to manage your own workload and schedule 5 years vehicle estimating experience; agricultural and specialty equipment preferred Management of direct reports and their workloads Potential for growth into division manager if candidate excels in position JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Accurately assess physical damage to vehicles and promptly produce written report Use of software programs such as CCC, JD Power, FileTrac and MS Office suite required Review estimates written by insurance material damage appraisers and provide guidance for revisions Work with management team on marketing ventures to benefit the company Provide effective customer service Travel to provide backfill for vacation coverages as necessary SALARY RANGE $70,000 to $80,000 base with potential to earn up to $140,000 with commission depending on experience and skill level. This is a commission-based role, not a set salary.
