PRST is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team in a full-time, temp-to-hire position in the Fredericksburg, VA area . In this full- time role, you'll earn $19-$25 per hour (based on experience), enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a variety of trades, carpentry, drywall, painting, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. If you are a motivated individual with a passion for precision and craftsmanship, we encourage you to apply!
- Conduct routine checks of buildings, grounds, and safety systems.
- Perform repairs including drywall, broken locks, clogged drains, damaged electrical wiring, fixtures, etc.
- Maintain and service HVAC systems by changing filters and adhere to scheduled maintenance to prevent break downs.
- Paint interior/exteriors, assemble equipment, and assist with seasonal landscaping or debris removal.
- Track work orders, document repairs, and maintain logs.
- Remodel work such as door trim, metal framing, and cabinet installation.
- Assist welders during down time through use of power tools such as a band saw.
Recent previous experience as a maintenance technician in a commercial or industrial building.
Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and otherwise maneuver throughout the shift to accomplish tasks.
Able to lift on average 50 pounds as needed throughout the shift.
Prior experience using power tools.
Able to work a 10-11 hour shift.
A background may be required for this position.
