Surgical PCA II

Facility: Dayton Children's - Main Campus Department: Anesthesia Clinical Support Schedule: Part time Hours: 8 Job Details: The Perioperative Services Clinical Support II (CSII) delivers basic perioperative pediatric patient care and maintains a clean perioperative environment. The focus for the CSII may be preoperative, postoperative, operating room, and/or postanesthesia care unit. The CSII is a member of the perioperative team and renders care in accordance with AORN, ASPAN, CMC, and OBN. The CSII performs nursing tasks under the supervision of a licensed nurse/physician. The roles for the CSII with a patient care focus may include anesthesia and secretarial support. Any budgeted position may be required to take call in accordance with the departmental policy. Department Specific Job Details: Hours: Days will vary (7a-3p ) Education: High school diploma/ GED is required. * An active CPR - BLS certificate is required to begin working in this role.
