What We’re Looking For Caring Transitions of Garland, Texas, is seeking a part‑time Business Development Representative to grow our referral network and generate qualified leads and appointments within a defined territory. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with excellent interpersonal and phone communication skills, a passion for community engagement, and an authentic connection to our mission. Duties and Responsibilities (But Not Limited To) Experience in the senior services community, such as assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing, is preferred, but not necessary Identify and develop new referral sources in the Garland area Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required Actively contact and follow up with leads by phone, email, and in‑person meetings; local daytime travel required Build and maintain trusted relationships with community partners such as assisted living facilities, memory care facilities, real estate professionals, and family‑law or estate attorneys, or any other relevant referral partners Collaborate with the owner to develop and implement local growth strategies and quarterly sales objectives Utilize branded materials, social media tools, training content, and email campaigns to promote services and increase brand awareness Participate in webinars, networking events, and community outreach to stay visible in the market Provide regular activity reports and performance updates Core Competencies Respect and appreciation for seniors and their families Exceptional customer service and communication skills High integrity, honesty, accountability, and ethical standards Local community knowledge is inherent or developed Networking aptitude Sales and marketing experience Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or Google Docs, Sheets CRM tools experience preferred Willingness to travel locally for meetings and events Requirements High school diploma (college degree preferred) Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Able to work 15-20 hours a week with flexible scheduling Must pass a pre‑employment background check Compensation Salary commensurate with industry experience Future performance bonuses based on closed appointments and company profitability Caring Transitions of Garland is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
