Registered Nurse - Psychiatric

$2154.24/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized psychiatric nursing care to adult patients experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Responsible for facilitating treatment, monitoring patient progress, and supporting discharge planning in a secure inpatient setting. Responsibilities: Assess patients' mental health status and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and therapies as prescribed by psychiatrists. Monitor patient responses and document progress accurately. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, medications, and coping strategies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Support discharge planning by coordinating with community resources and treatment providers. Qualifications: Valid RN license with psychiatric or mental health certification preferred. Proven experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing. Strong assessment and patient monitoring skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
