**Exciting Opportunity for a Labor and Delivery RN!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) - **Unit:** Labor and Delivery (L&D) - **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) - **Assignment Length:** 13 Weeks - **Start Date:** ASAP - **Experience Required:** Minimum 1 year in Labor and Delivery - **Certifications Required:** - BLS - ACLS - AWHONN Intermediate - AWHONN Advanced - NRP - **Essential Skills:** - Charge experience preferred or willingness to train - Strong background in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and monitoring - Experience with high-risk deliveries and C-sections - Proficient in neonatal care and postpartum support - Familiar with administration of medications including magnesium sulfate and pitocin - **Work Settings:** - Antepartum care - High Risk Labor & Delivery - Mother/Baby unit - **Patient Demographics:** - Care for adolescents and adults - Average daily census: 7-14 Labor & Delivery, 5-10 OB Triage/Test patients - **Special Procedures:** - Cervical cerclage - Cesarean sections - D&C - Neonatal resuscitation - **Additional Unit Information:** - 10 OB Triage Rooms, 10 LDR Rooms, 3 OR suites, 4 PACU rooms - Average of 7 daily deliveries, with potential for up to 14 patients - Supportive interdisciplinary team - **Flexibility:** - Weekend coverage required: every other weekend - Float within scope to meet facility needs may be required - **RTO Restrictions:** - Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer - All requests for time off must be included in the submission Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
