Position Overview The Flight Test Instrumentation Specialist is responsible for supporting the build, install/modification, and demodification of instrumentation measurements and supporting equipment. This position supports instrumentation leadership and represented employees. Responsibilities include a broad range of oversight, including but not limited to metal fabrication (CNC machining and sheet metal hand forming), electrical harness fabrication, structure and electrical install on aircraft, and maintenance and removal of instrumentation measurements and equipment on aircraft. Responsibilities Metal fabrication (CNC machining and sheet metal hand forming) Electrical harness fabrication and routing (install) Structure and electrical installation on aircraft Maintenance and removal of instrumentation measurements and equipment on aircraft Support instrumentation leadership and represented employees Act as supervisor during supervision absence when required Basic Qualifications Metal fabrication experience CNC machining experience Harness fabrication and routing (install) Flight line / aircraft modification experience Desired Skills Excellent communication skills Ability to work with varying levels of management across multiple organizations Experience with SFM, PDM, EDMS Experience working in a union environment Security Clearance Requires a government security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance level: Secret. Work Schedules Schedule: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Onsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
