Apply now and start your adventure with us!/ppResponsibilities and Expectations: A Power Transformer Field Service Technician is a Denver, CO based role, with travel to customer sites around the United States. In this role you will perform complicated operations including, but not limited to: internal inspections, load tap changer repair/replacement, dress fill, regasketing, component replacement, and unit relocations. You will work on large and medium power transformers of varying types (substation, GSU, regulating, rectifying, and electric arc furnace). Candidates should possess a strong knowledge of operations such as inspection, testing, repair, investigation, and reporting on various types of liquid transformers. You will learn how to perform failure investigations, report findings, and recommend repairs. Candidates will employ test equipment and instruments required to perform preliminary, intermediate, and final test. Perform related job duties as assigned. An A-level technician will be capable of working onsite and in-shop by themselves with little to no direction.
