Working remotely on a contract basis, the Over Reader will accurately review medical record abstractions performed by HEDIS abstraction staff, ensuring compliance with NCQA guidelines and BCBSIL training standards. Key responsibilities Perform daily over-reads of medical record abstractions and provide feedback on errors identified Utilize software applications to enter data and manage chase statuses related to HEDIS operations Collaborate with the HEDIS Coordinator and QI Specialists to discuss HEDIS efforts and resolve open issues Required qualifications Clinical experience in a healthcare setting Knowledge of medical terminology Data entry and typing experience Proficiency in PC applications including Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes Auditing experience is preferred Virtual Vocations Inc
