This temporary role will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates for technical manufacturing positions.The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, collaborating closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, attract top talent, and ensure a smooth, data-driven recruitment process. This role requires experience and an understanding of technical positions, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for finding top talent.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with department heads and hiring managers to assess workforce needs, forecast hiring demands and build targeted talent pipelinesBuild and maintain a scalable recruiting strategy. Manage full-cycle recruiting efforts and offer negotiationsCreate and post compelling, accurate technical job descriptions aligned with team needsSource and screen candidates for a variety of roles across engineering and manufacturing functionsConduct structured interviews and coordinate technical assessmentsFollow up with passive candidates and nurture long-term pipelines for hard-to-fill rolesProvide regular updates on recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, and hiring trendsRequiredBA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar field OR a high school diploma/GED and 10 years of relevant work experience or some combination thereofMinimum of 4 years of experience recruiting engineers or niche, skilled roles across Manufacturing and QualityAbility to adapt quickly to changing business needs and facility expansions in the manufacturing processAbility to build and maintain scalable talent pipelines for both high-volume entry-level roles and specialized manufacturing positionsProven ability to understand and communicate complex technical job requirementsAbility to partner with managers and operations leadership to forecast future labor needs based on production targets, facility expansions, and new product linesExperience with applicant tracking systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized and adaptable in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentStrong sense of urgency and a proactive approach to problem-solvingAbility to be in person in Santa Cruz, or San Carlos, CA 2-3 days per weekDesiredExperience with iCIMS ATS systemBackground in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, high-tech or start-up industriesAbility to analyze AI-generated insights, track time-to-fill and quality-of-hire metrics, and measure tool performance.Experience leading recruitment strategies to rapidly scale production teams, successfully handling rotational spikes and major shifts in manufacturing volume.Additional InformationThis is a temporary role, anticipated to last 6-12 months. The target base pay for this position is $49-$65/hr.
