Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Client journey: Manage each wedding from initial inquiry and venue tour through planning, event execution, and post-event follow-up.
• Consultative sales: Understand each couple's vision, present packages and enhancements, prepare proposals, secure contracts, and support revenue goals.
• Planning ownership: Lead planning meetings and maintain timelines, floor plans, guest counts, menus, seating details, payment schedules, and final specifications.
• Event documentation: Prepare and distribute accurate banquet event orders, production schedules, diagrams, vendor details, and internal notes.
• Team coordination: Partner with culinary, banquet, operations, golf, valet, and leadership teams to ensure every department is aligned before the event.
• Vendor management: Coordinate with florists, photographers, entertainment, transportation, rental companies, officiants, and other event partners.
• Event-day leadership: Oversee setup, ceremony and reception timing, client communication, vendor arrival, room transitions, and real-time issue resolution.
• Relationship stewardship: Deliver polished, responsive service that generates referrals, reviews, and lasting relationships with couples and families.

Required Qualifications

• Three or more years of wedding planning, event coordination, catering sales, venue sales, or private-event experience.
• Demonstrated success managing clients and complex event details from inquiry through completion.
• Working knowledge of wedding timelines, banquet operations, food and beverage service, vendor coordination, and event documentation.
• Strong consultative sales, presentation, written communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Exceptional organization, follow-through, attention to detail, and ability to manage several weddings at different planning stages.
• Availability to work onsite, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the event calendar.
