Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current and active LPN license in Virginia.
• Experience in schools or with pediatric populations is strongly preferred.
• Skilled and comfortable with managing medically fragile children, including those with diabetes, seizure disorders, or requiring g-tube/trach support.
• Willingness to assist with all aspects of personal care and hygiene.
• Reliable, compassionate, and able to collaborate with school teams and families.
• Flexible and calm in fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable environments.

Position Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by healthcare plans.
• Monitor and document students’ health status throughout the day.
• Provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies.
• Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and healthcare providers.
• Support students’ access to education by addressing health needs both in classrooms and on school transportation.
