Datacenter Technician

We are looking for a Data Center Technician to support daily data center operations, including hardware installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with servers, network equipment, and data center infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and other IT equipment. Perform server rack and stack activities, including cabling and equipment installation. Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and equipment-related issues. Replace and repair faulty hardware components as needed. Perform equipment moves, adds, changes, and decommissioning. Monitor data center equipment and respond to alerts or support requests. Maintain proper labeling and cable management. Follow data center safety, security, and access procedures. Maintain accurate documentation of equipment and activities. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical teams. Work with vendors and internal teams when required. Required Skills Hands-on experience with servers, racks, switches, and cabling. Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, LAN, and VLAN. Experience with hardware troubleshooting and replacement. Knowledge of structured cabling and cable management. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and documentation skills. Ability to lift and move IT equipment when required. Preferred Skills Experience with Dell, HP, Cisco, or similar hardware. Knowledge of VMware or other virtualization technologies. Experience with data center ticketing systems.
