FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the SUP14 Financial Compliance & Oversight Division in the SUP142 Test & Evaluation Branch of NAVAL SUPPLY SYSTEMS COMMAND. Responsibilities You will conduct internal sustainment testing of financial controls to validate the effective and efficient acquisition and use of funds supporting organizational programs. You will execute sustainment testing protocols on accounting transactions to identify functional deficiencies and compliance issues, developing actionable recommendations for corrective action. You will perform ongoing sustainment testing by analyzing and interpreting data across multiple financial systems to validate data integrity, detect anomalies, and determine operational trends. You will conduct comprehensive risk assessments across assigned business segments to identify operational and financial vulnerabilities, utilizing these findings to design and execute a risk-based sustainment testing plan. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Conducting comprehensive risk assessments and internal testing to evaluate the effectiveness, costs, and benefits of alternative financial management methods for organizational programs; 2) Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure risk-based testing plans, corrective actions, and customer requirements align with current program policies and procedures; 3) Evaluating internal controls and identifying system deficiencies within the end-to-end Navy business processes to ensure compliance and audit readiness; and 4) Utilizing Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) or related automated financial systems to extract, interpret, and analyze financial data specifically for compliance testing, anomaly detection, and trend determination.
