Work Environment

This position is based in a vibrant and supportive onsite rehabilitation facility in Pomona, California, where teamwork and open communication are paramount. You will be joining a close-knit team consisting of two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). The clinic is equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies and resources, allowing for comprehensive treatment modalities tailored to orthopedic clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each patient's goals and needs, establishing a clear path towards recovery.
• Manage a caseload effectively, treating one patient per hour while ensuring personalized attention and care.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques to aid in the rehabilitation of orthopedic injuries and conditions.
• Develop and frequently adjust comprehensive care plans that incorporate various treatment modalities, including manual therapy, exercise protocols, and functional training.
• Monitor and document treatment progress, outcomes, and any changes in each patient's condition.
• Provide guidance and education to patients and their families regarding recovery strategies and preventive measures.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a supportive atmosphere.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure integrated patient care and optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population with a primary focus on orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain management, and mobility enhancement among various age groups. You will employ a compassionate and individualized approach to care, addressing not only the physical aspects of rehabilitation but also supporting the psychological well-being of your patients.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) required.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Clean professional record absent of board actions or disciplinary history.
• Strong competency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based treatment strategies.
• Proficiency in creating and implementing exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Software, particularly WebPT, is an asset.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Experience with EMR documentation and knowledge of billing procedures related to physical therapy services.
• Demonstrated success in developing individualized treatment plans that lead to positive patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
