Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The assignment runs from August 2026 through June 2027, providing continuity and the chance to see student progress throughout the academic year.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR) license from the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE)
• Experience providing occupational therapy interventions in a school setting, with the ability to adapt to various age groups and needs
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload of 45–60 students with varying service requirements
• Organized, flexible, and committed to supporting students’ academic and functional skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group OT services to K–12 students according to IEP goals
• Evaluate and document students’ needs and progress, maintaining compliance with district and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and participation across all grade levels
• Provide consultation and education to teachers and staff regarding environmental adaptations and classroom strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings, goal setting, and student evaluations as required
• Promote a supportive and engaging learning environment onsite
