Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting contract opportunity awaits for a skilled Physical Therapist passionate about supporting students’ growth in a vibrant educational environment. This onsite role offers full-time hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, providing therapy services to a diverse K-12 student population. The caseload ranges from 35 to 50 students, with needs and grade levels varying throughout the assignment. You’ll have the chance to make a significant impact while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to students’ academic and functional success.
To excel in this role, candidates should bring:
- A valid Physical Therapist license issued through ECPTOTE
- Experience working within school settings (preferred)
- Familiarity with K-12 student populations and varying therapy needs
- Confidence in supporting a caseload of 35–50 students
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and administrators
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Adaptability to diverse learning environments and changing student needs
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering physical therapy services to students across multiple grade levels
- Assessing student needs and developing goals tailored to educational plans
- Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports
- Collaborating with educational staff to ensure integrated support strategies
- Engaging families and stakeholders in the therapy process
- Adhering to professional and ethical standards as set forth by ECPTOTE and educational agencies
This is a full-year contract assignment spanning from August to June, offering consistency and the opportunity to shape students’ abilities over time.
