Primary responsibilities include working with internal clients and vendors and purchasing HVAC-related inventory. Interact with vendors, dealers, and manufacturers to provide solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner. Position Responsibilities may include: Perform activities in the vendor purchasing program admin function Ensure products and services are purchased in the most cost- and time-efficient manner Help determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary Assist in inventory analysis and maintenance Work with vendors and service providers to get prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers Serve as a liaison between vendors and the sales staff Work with Manager to seek approvals as needed Establish and maintain healthy working relationships with the internal customers (users) and outside vendors/ suppliers Must be able to multi-task Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs. Nature & Scope: Possesses a broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education Has no discretion to deviate from established procedures by performing structured work assignments Work is closely supervised Problems faced are not typically difficult nor complex Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area Knowledge & Skills: Excellent communication and time management skills are required. Purchasing, 3-way matching, Invoicing, and accounting skills required. Must be able to multi-task, analyze needs and situations, and liaise with vendors to determine and attain the best solutions. Emphasis on task completion within service levels. Ability to apply good judgment, strong work ethic, and integrity on the job.
