Relocation Assistance and Travel Benefits Available A leading electrical construction contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee large-scale Data Center construction, Mission Critical projects, and complex electrical infrastructure installations. This role is ideal for a Project Manager with experience delivering major electrical packages on Hyperscale Data Centers, colocation facilities, mission critical environments, or other technically complex commercial and industrial projects. Working closely with clients, field teams, engineers, vendors, and executive leadership, you will be responsible for managing all phases of project delivery, including preconstruction, budgeting, procurement, scheduling, cost control, change management, commissioning, and final turnover. What You'll Be Doing As the Electrical Project Manager, you will lead high-profile projects valued in excess of $100M, ensuring electrical construction activities are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. Responsibilities include: Managing the full lifecycle of Data Center electrical construction projects Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, manpower plans, and procurement strategies Coordinating installation of electrical distribution systems, medium voltage systems, low voltage systems, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, PDUs, and associated critical power infrastructure Working closely with owners, general contractors, engineers, and commissioning teams throughout project execution Reviewing project drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documentation Leading project financial management, forecasting, cost tracking, billing, and revenue recognition Managing subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and field operations teams Supporting commissioning, startup, testing, and turnover of mission critical electrical systems Conducting regular site walks and progress meetings to ensure safety, quality, and schedule performance Building long-term client relationships while delivering exceptional project outcomes Mentoring Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and field leadership teams What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager Proven experience managing electrical construction projects Experience delivering Data Center, Mission Critical, Critical Facilities, or large-scale industrial projects Strong knowledge of critical power infrastructure, electrical distribution, switchgear, medium voltage equipment, backup generators, UPS systems, and power monitoring systems Experience working within operational facilities, phased construction environments, or complex retrofit projects Strong understanding of project controls, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and risk management Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while driving schedule and financial performance Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Mission Critical Construction Critical Environment Electrical Installations Structured Cabling Commissioning and Startup MEP Construction Construction Management Electrical Engineering PMP Certification Journeyman or Master Electrician background Why Join?
