In office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with working hours targeting our core business hours of 9am-5pm EST.YOUR ROLEAs a member of the Project Management Office, you’ll play a crucial role in managing change initiatives that support our ability to deliver world class customer service and capabilities to our policyholders—now and in the future. You will support projects focused on transforming our Information Technology. The projects supported by this role will have potentially span across multiple business functions and technology platforms calling on breadth of technical and project management skillsets.What you will be doingManage cross functional project teams though complex projects using widely accepted project methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile/LEAN, SDLC)Motivate and direct team members to build collaborative project teams to conduct research and analysis to quantify business opportunities and issues and develop formal recommendations for presentation to managementApply project management tools and methods to manage project scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, communication, resources and suppliersWork with other PMO team members to integrate plans and coordinate execution for large cross-functional projects requiring multiple work-streams and sub-plansConduct cost-benefit Analysis for projects, validate cost and benefit assumptions with stakeholders, resource managers and process ownersConduct written and oral project updates for senior management and business leadersWhat you bringBachelor’s degree or Military experience Minimum of 5 years IT project management experienceDemonstrated ability to develop strategic relationships and lead customer focused projects across organizational boundariesExcellent planning, organizational and execution skillsStrong communication -- oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skillsDemonstrated experience interacting & collaborating with business areas in gathering, documenting and developing business scope for projectsResults oriented, ability to meet and exceed objectives and handle multiple deadlines and prioritiesStrong analytical and business problem solving skillsADDITIONALAt this time, Genworth will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.No agencies please.National Range: $84,400 - $127,000Disclaimer: This role is aligned to a national market-based pay range. Actual compensation will vary based on geographic location, experience, skills, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in a bonus incentive plan.
