MISSION / ROLE

We are seeking a highly capable Financial Administrator (m/f/d) to join our U.S. team in Chicago. This role sits at the intersection of Finance, People & Culture, Payroll, and Office Administration, acting as a key operational connector between our U.S. organization and our Germany-based People & Culture team. The position requires a mid-level professional who thrives in a structured yet dynamic environment and enjoys working across functions and geographies.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance & Accounting Support month-end and year-end closing activities, financial reporting, accounting processes, budgeting, and cost controlling Monitor and ensure that expenditures align with approved budgets Prepare and deliver spending and financial control reports Support financial compliance including tax-related and governmental reporting requirements Collaborate closely with the Finance team in Germany to ensure alignment with global group policies Provide financial insights and operational support to local and group management Support Sales and Use Tax compliance through registration and filing activities Payroll & Compensation Manage and review semi-monthly payroll processing for U.S. employees Support sales commission calculations and payout processes, including review of sales agreements Conduct regular payroll and billing audits to ensure accuracy and financial integrity Ensure compliance with applicable payroll tax and labor regulations Office & Operations Management (U.S.) Take part in U.S. Office Management responsibilities Support administrative and operational office processes Partner with Finance and People & Culture colleagues to ensure efficient day-to-day operations Collaborate with external advisors to ensure full legal and regulatory compliance Support cross-functional initiatives and operational improvements People & Culture / HR Operations Serve as a liaison between U.S. operations and the People & Culture team in Germany Support employee operations, including onboarding and offboarding processes Co-create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace environment that fosters employee engagement and morale Ensure compliance with state-specific U.S. employment regulations and internal policies Support benefits administration and employee communications regarding policies, updates, and company news

YOUR PROFILE
