Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for our food manufacturingclient to start immediatelyat up to $42/hr DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our clientupon hire!
Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Mechanic in food manufacturing, you’ll install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in compliance with all safety protocols and machine safety standards. We’re looking for hands-on, physically capable individuals with solid experience in mechanical systems.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on all equipment, from basic to complex, to uphold company quality standards
- Diagnose and analyze equipment failures and malfunctions using technical manuals and documentation
- Create sketches and drawings of parts requiring repair or replacement using appropriate technical tools
- Identify and evaluate new spare parts, technologies, and mechanisms to improve equipment performance
- Estimate costs for spare parts and repair services based on technical requirements
Location: University Park, IL
**Schedule/Shift Details: **Openings on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts!
- First shift starts between 6AM-9AM
- Second shift starts between 3PM-5PM
- Third shift starts between 11PM-1AM - Overtime as needed
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic required
- Experience in food manufacturing preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
- Ability to read and write in English
- Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of safety standards and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Basic familiarity with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems required
