Customer Service Representative Location (city, state): Elgin, IL Industry: Packaging & Manufacturing Pay: $20.00 $22.00 / Hour (based on experience) Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Job Description: This role supports a busy customer service and sales team by handling order processing, quoting, and inventory coordination. You'll work closely with internal teams, vendors, and limited customer interaction while ensuring accuracy and timely execution across all orders. The position offers hands-on training and exposure to multiple areas of the business, including operations and light accounting support. Key Responsibilities: Process customer orders and prepare accurate quotes using internal systems (SAGE preferred) Support inventory tracking and coordinate closely with fulfillment to ensure timely deliveries Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding order status, pricing, and availability Assist sales representatives by responding to requests and maintaining order updates Support basic accounting functions such as invoicing, cash receipts, and related administrative tasks Ensure data accuracy and timely entry across all systems Qualifications: 13 years of customer service or administrative experience Comfortable working in a small, fast-paced office environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; SAGE experience strongly preferred Strong communication skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and support a team-based environment Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
