• Food Exposition: Verifying plates match ticket orders, adding final garnishes, and wiping plate rims.
• Kitchen Communication: Acting as the central voice between line cooks and front-of-house servers.
• Dishwashing: Operating commercial dishwashers, scrubbing pots, and sanitizing all tableware.
• Station Organization: Keeping the dish pit clean and organizing clean dishes for immediate kitchen use.
• Waste Management: Emptying trash cans, operating boxes crushers, and maintaining floor safety.

Key Skills Required

• High Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for long periods in a hot environment.
• Clear Communication: Speaking loudly and clearly to keep servers and cooks synchronized.
• Speed and Accuracy: Multitasking between messy cleanup and detailed food presentation under tight time pressure.
• Stress Tolerance: Remaining calm and focused when the kitchen gets backed up with orders.
