Senior Project Manager

Location: Auburn, CA. Duration: 5 Months. Responsibilities Exercise judgment and discretion in managing all aspects of assigned projects. Provide a single point of contact for projects, ensuring objectives are achievable. Guide engineering teams in producing complex risk and alternative analyses, studies, and conceptual designs. Oversee and administer EPC contracts in accordance with the ESC Work Oversight Committee. Negotiate third-party contracts, supporting other departments as appropriate. Develop and champion company-wide best practices. Make presentations to company officers as needed. Arbitrate and resolve conflicts within the project. Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced project managers. Requirements Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent in education and experience. 8+ years of experience in project management, project controls, engineering, and/or construction if within the company; 9 years if outside hire. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and maintenance required for new entrants. Preferred Skills Knowledge of land acquisition, CPUC and environmental permitting, and EPC contracting procedures.
