Cardiac Surgery Physician Assistant

Specialty Hackensack University Medical Center-AP-Physician-0107 State NJ Location 30 Prospect Ave Hackensack New Jersey 07601 Requirements Need provider for 9 months. Outpatient Cardiac Surgery APP need for HUMC office – 30 Prospect Ave, One Link Cardiac Surgery Office. Outpatient. No inpatient. Covering for a leave of absence. Will need up to date CDA and DEA. Must have NJ license. M‑F, 4, 10‑hr shifts alternating 1 day off per week. Preoperative and postoperative cardiac surgery patients. Sessions upwards of 10 patients per day (estimate). 5 physicians in house. Directly working with 5 other outpatient APNs, as well as the Clinical APN manager. Collegially working/conferring with Inpatient APNs/PAs. Office has clerical coordinators, scheduling coordinators, CMAs, a supervisor and an office manager. Procedures required – minor post‑operative which may include wound debridement and packing placement.
