More information and career opportunities are available at Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cook role based at Windy Hill Farm and Preserve in Loudon, TN. The Cook prepares and cooks menu items for the resort’s farm-to-table restaurant, following established recipes and presentation standards. Responsibilities include organizing and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, assisting with food prep, monitoring stock levels, and supporting efficient service during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Cook collaborates with the culinary team to incorporate seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, helps with special events and group dining, and follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines. The role also involves occasional interaction with guests, contributing to an elevated and welcoming dining experience. Qualifications Strong culinary skills, including experience with scratch cooking, farm-to-table or seasonal menus, and basic baking or pastry techniques. Knowledge of kitchen operations, such as food safety and sanitation standards, inventory and prep management, and proper use of kitchen equipment. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, manage time well, and maintain consistency and attention to detail during service. Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills, able to work respectfully within a culinary team and support front-of-house staff. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and to support special events or high-occupancy periods. Previous line cook or related kitchen experience in a restaurant, resort, or hospitality setting is preferred. Formal culinary training, certification in food safety (such as ServSafe), or equivalent practical experience is beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
