Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Requirements:

• Current Physical Therapist (PT) credential for New York state
• Previous school-based PT experience preferred, especially with PreK or school-aged children
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy interventions for students in PreK through school age
• Document all services and progress in accordance with school policies and state regulations
• Consult with educational teams to design adaptive strategies for student participation
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Educate staff and families on mobility, positioning, and assistive devices
• Support students’ progress toward their physical and educational goals in both classroom and specialized settings
