Position Information Posting Number: PT345 Job Title: ADJUNCT – DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL SONOGRAPHY POOL Department: Dental and Imaging Technology Position Type: Faculty Employment Status: Adjunct Salary: Adjunct Stipend Open Date: 11/12/2025 Open Until Filled: No Position Summary The purpose of this position is to teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need, and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community. Courses may include online courses and/or dual‑credit/early college classes. Minimum Qualifications Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Diagnostic Medical Sonography Three (3) years of recent clinical experience Current credential/registration in Abdomen through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Required Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to teach and communicate with students of varied multicultural backgrounds Knowledge of and commitment to teaching strategies and methods which enhance student success Knowledge of a learning college and/or learning communities Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching at the secondary or college level Experience teaching college‑level online courses and/ or documented successful training in a college online learning management system (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas) Special Instructions to Applicants Applicants must reside in the state of Texas and be eligible to work in the United States.
