Medical Assistant – Smithtown, NY

Our client in Smithtown is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide essential support to physicians and clinical staff in a fast-paced medical office.
Responsibilities include:
Rooming patients, taking vitals, documenting medications, and updating EMR records
Assisting with exams, procedures, and specimen collection
Performing routine lab tests and ensuring exam rooms are clean and stocked
Communicating effectively with patients about procedures, medications, and instructions
Supporting administrative tasks including scheduling, phone calls, and maintaining patient flow
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
EMR/computer experience
Strong communication, xywuqvp multitasking, and organizational skills
Hours: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM (variable)
Schedule: 10-hour shifts; some evenings and Saturdays required
Location: Smithtown, NY
