Medical Assistant Position

One of two positions available. GHR Program Manager - Jen Dierkes - GHR Program Coordinator - Kayla Kyle CONTRACT LENGTH: 8 weeks with extensions to meet 520 hours to convert to perm IMPORTANT - this contract is Temp to Hire. We can only consider candidates who are interested in converting to staff. The XXXX as a full time Penn Medicine CMA is approx. XXXXXXXXXXX1-22/hour. To ensure candidates want to convert full time, we ask that the XXXX must not exceed XXXXXXXXXXX2/hour. LOCATION: 599 West State Street, suite 302 Doylestown, PA 18901 SCHEDULE: M-F 8am-4:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include preparing patients for exams and procedures, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, assisting physicians with procedures and testing, collecting and processing specimens, performing EKGs and injections, and supporting patient mobility and transportation. The MA will also maintain exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and sterilization standards while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other team members to maintain efficient patient flow and deliver excellent patient and family service. The MA may also assist with pre-certifications, train new staff or interns, and support workflow improvements across the department.

IMPORTANT - PRACTICE MANAGER NOTES: The Vascular Surgery positions require candidates with a solid medical background, as vascular surgery can be more complex than some other specialties. The ideal candidates should be willing to learn vascular diagnoses, treatment plans, procedures, and the associated clinical workflows. Adaptability, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care are critical for success in these roles.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 18 months of MA experience EPIC knowledge is highly preferred ---Penn will not accept education from STEPFUL-- INTERVIEW – MS TEAMS interview ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS: • Submit candidates with the Submission cover form and resume in 1 document. The cover form should be page 1. RTO must be listed on submission cover form for consideration. Please highlight if the candidate has EPIC experience – this is a preference for this practice - After Award Acceptance - COA must be uploaded within 48 hours of the award being accepted. Candidate profile in B4Health must be accurate (name, email, phone number, DOB and last 4 of SS#). Approved RTO must be added to B4Health under candidate profile. In the event that the same candidate is submitted by multiple agencies, the agency with the right to represent will be considered the agency of record. Right to represent should be included in the submission packet.

COMPLIANCE: Due on the Wednesday before the start date. Make sure your candidate is ready to start the compliance process immediately upon accepting the award. Medicals and drug screens must be started within 72 hours of accepting the award. Candidates who do not start this requirement within 72 hours are at risk of the contract being cancelled.

TRAINING: • HIPAA Module (15 minutes) • 4 Hour Pennchart training for MA's - held on Fridays from 8a-1p. MUST be completed prior to start • 4-DAY PennChart Scheduling training for PSR's.- ONSITE - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am-5pm. Must pass test at the end of training. Retakes are available if unable to pass the first time around. • CSA's are required to completed both of the above outlined trainings.
