Job Title: Travel RN - PCU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 36 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care PCU experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS and ACLS Must-Have: Candidates must have at least 1 year of current acute care PCU experience. Candidates must possess BLS and ACLS certifications. Description: This position is for a travel Registered Nurse in a Progressive Care Unit. The unit has a large cardiac population and involves a variety of acute and chronic medical issues. Patient ratios are typically 1:5 during both day and night shifts and may vary between units. The facility has a total of 345 beds and is recognized for its commitment to excellence in nursing. The environment encourages teamwork and collaboration, offering a family-like atmosphere among staff. The role involves floating to various inpatient Medical/Telemetry and Rehabilitation units as needed. Ideal candidates will demonstrate flexibility, a willingness to float, and compassion for patients. Strong telemetry experience is preferred, with a minimum of 2 years required. Candidates with chemotherapy certification will have opportunities to work in oncology units as well. All candidates must be prepared to care for a diverse patient population with varying medical issues.
