Training Manager

Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a Training Manager to support both Food & Nutrition and Environmental Services (EVS) across two USC Hospital System locations— USC Verdugo Hills and USC Arcadia. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs for frontline staff and managers, with content tailored specifically to EVS and Food & Nutrition operations. Key responsibilities include selecting training topics, creating syllabi, conducting new‑hire orientation, monitoring and tracking training compliance, and supporting broader training initiatives and campaigns. The Training Manager serves as the central driver of consistent, effective training practices across both hospitals. What You'll Do onboard new employees lead department orientation for EVS & Food & Nutrition conduct initial safety training complete monthly Sodexo Safety Training administer safety audits evaluate the patient experience program to improve patient satisfaction scores facilitate courses and workshops to increase awareness and grow the skills of others assist in the development of training strategy identify and implement new ideas, technologies, or processes to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, cost-savings, and improved patient satisfaction scores develop learning strategies and plans with business unit leaders based upon deficiencies identified in a needs assessment What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
