What You'll Do As a Patient Services Representative II at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll: Greet patients warmly, check them in and out, and assist with questions about appointments, insurance, or procedures Collect co-pays, prepayments, and outstanding balances accurately, while explaining financial policies as needed Schedule new and follow-up appointments, answer incoming calls, and ensure timely patient communication and follow-up Input and update patient demographics, case injury information, insurance details, and referrals into the EMR system Open and close the front office, maintain a clean and organized waiting area, and monitor appointment reschedules or cancellations Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, obtain necessary forms, and coordinate with outside facilities for imaging or referrals Work assigned EMR “buckets” (e.g., No Show, Reschedule, Missing Slips) and support clinical staff with documentation and follow-through Assist with daily cash drawer reconciliation, deposits, and billing charge entry to ensure accurate end-of-day financial reporting Thrive in a fast-paced, people-facing environment Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and staff Balance multiple responsibilities with professionalism and accuracy Take ownership of front-desk operations and enjoy solving challenges Work independently while contributing to a strong, team-first culture What You’ll Need High School Diploma or equivalent 4+ years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting Strong customer service skills and a patient-centered approach Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR systems (Epic a plus) Excellent verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and discretion with patient information Experience with front office leadership, financial reconciliation, and insurance verification preferred Why OrthoAtlanta?
