Key Responsibilities Rapid Assessment & Triage: Provide comprehensive, safe, and effective evidence‑based nursing care, performing rapid and accurate assessments to prioritize patient needs and facilitate timely intervention for various medical and traumatic emergencies. Emergency Interventions: Organize and prioritize patient care activities, balancing urgent needs and comfort of critically ill or injured patients. Initiate and manage life‑saving interventions. Patient & Family Support: Act as an advocate for patients’ needs by demonstrating holistic care practices, offering support and clear communication during highly stressful times. Clinical Acuity & Adaptability: Recognize, interpret, and adapt to rapidly changing patient conditions (e.g., labs, vitals, signs, and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner, often under pressure. Job Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Preferred: BSN Must have 1 to 2 years of experience in ED AZ RN license or RN license from a Compact State American Heart Association certifications Basic Life Support certification (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) Two (2) years of Emergency Department experience Pay Range $35.00 - $58.63 /hour #J-18808-Ljbffr CommonSpirit Health
