About the Role:

JC Ironshield Roofing Company is looking for a skilled and experienced Commercial Roofer to join our growing team in Pompano Beach, FL! If you take pride in quality craftsmanship, have experience working on commercial roofing projects, and are dependable and ready to work, we want to hear from you.

We are especially looking for roofers with experience driving and towing trailers, bending and fabricating metal, and working with commercial roofing systems . We value hardworking crew members who take safety seriously and consistently deliver an IronShield Finish on every project.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems

• Work with TPO, PVC, single-ply, and other commercial roofing systems

• Perform tear-offs, roof preparation, and installation

• Perform hot-air welding and hot-mop roofing when required

• Measure, bend, fabricate, and install sheet metal and roofing metal

• Safely operate roofing tools, equipment, and machinery

• Drive and tow company trailers and dump trailers when required

• Load, secure, transport, and unload roofing materials and equipment

• Follow safety protocols and properly use required PPE

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site

• Work with foremen and crew members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule

• Represent JC Ironshield Roofing Company professionally on every jobsite

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ year of commercial roofing experience required
  
• Active and valid Florida Driver's License required
  
• Trailer driving and towing experience strongly preferred

• Experience operating or towing dump trailers preferred

• Experience with metal bending and sheet metal fabrication preferred

• Experience with TPO, PVC, single-ply, or other commercial roofing systems preferred

• Ability to safely work at heights and in outdoor South Florida weather conditions

• Knowledge of roofing tools, equipment, and jobsite safety standards

• OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus

• CDL Class A/B is a plus

• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
