Provider Recruiter/Healthcare Recruiter (Novato, CA)

LHH is teaming up with a growing healthcare organization in Novato, CA in search of a Provider Recruiter / Healthcare Recruiter to support physician and advanced practice provider recruitment across multiple healthcare locations.

The Provider Recruiter will serve as a strategic recruiting partner to clinical leaders, helping attract and hire high-quality physicians and advanced practice providers while enhancing recruitment processes and candidate experience. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care by ensuring critical provider positions are filled efficiently and compliantly.

The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare recruiter with a strong background recruiting physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other licensed medical professionals. They are confident advising hiring managers, skilled at building talent pipelines, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This individual brings strong knowledge of recruiting compliance and employment laws, while also demonstrating excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare providers
  
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified provider talent
  
• Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines for ongoing and future hiring needs
  
• Source, screen, interview, and present candidates to hiring managers
  
• Coordinate interviews, site visits, and candidate communications throughout the hiring process
  
• Partner closely with physician leaders and hiring managers to understand staffing needs
  
• Serve as a recruitment consultant and advisor to stakeholders across multiple locations
  
• Train and coach hiring managers on effective and legally compliant interviewing practices
  
• Standardize recruitment processes, interview guides, screening questions, and candidate evaluation tools
  
• Optimize ATS utilization and recruitment workflows
  
• Manage relationships with third-party recruitment agencies and sourcing vendors
  
• Monitor recruitment advertising performance and sourcing effectiveness
  
• Develop recruiting documentation, training materials, and process improvements
  
• Support provider contract negotiations and hiring incentive programs as needed
  
  

Qualifications:

• Required: 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
  
• Required: Significant physician/provider recruiting experience
  
• Required: Experience recruiting physicians (MD/DO), nurse practitioners (NPs), and physician assistants (PAs)
  
• Required: Experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously in a healthcare environment
  
• Required: Strong knowledge of employment law, recruiting compliance, and interview best practices
  
• Required: Experience building and maintaining candidate pipelines
  
• Required: Strong consultative approach with hiring managers and senior stakeholders
  
• Required: Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
  
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) required
  
• iCIMS experience preferred
  
• Experience recruiting within behavioral health or dental environments is a plus
  
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
  

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Start Date : Late September to Early October, 2026

Location: Fully on-site in Novato, CA.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $50.00-$56.00/hour, depending on experience
