About the Role
Do you like to help people when they have a problem? Can you understand problems and turn them into solutions? Does understanding how things work intrigue you?
AZCO Corp. is looking for an Applications Engineer to support our sales team and customers by turning application requirements into practical equipment solutions.
This role combines technical problem-solving, quotation development, and customer support. You’ll work closely with sales, engineering, and operations to prepare proposals, answer technical questions, and help customers identify the right equipment for their needs.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys both technical work and customer interaction, with room to grow within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop a strong working knowledge of AZCO equipment and applications.
* Review customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
* Prepare quotations for standard and custom equipment.
* Assist customers and the sales team with technical questions.
* Coordinate with engineering and operations on specifications, pricing, and lead times.
* Participate in customer meetings by phone or Microsoft Teams.
* Process sales orders and maintain accurate customer information.
Qualifications
* Experience in applications engineering, technical sales support, manufacturing, or a related role.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills.
* Ability to generate quotations accurately.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Comfortable interacting with customers.
* Strong computer skills.
* Engineering, mechanical, or industrial technology background is a plus.
