Human Resources Director

A well-established 350+ bed acute care hospital is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Human Resources Director. This executive leadership role partners closely with the CEO and senior leadership to lead all Human Resources operations within a complex, fast-paced healthcare environment. The Human Resources Director will drive workforce strategy, labor relations, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead all Human Resources operations, strategy, and organizational initiatives. Partner with executive and operational leaders on position control, workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and talent strategies to support operational excellence and workforce stability. Provide executive oversight of union labor relations, including Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) interpretation, contract administration, labor negotiations, grievance strategy, and arbitration support. Ensure compliance with California Department of Public Health (CDPH), CMS, The Joint Commission, OSHA, HIPAA, EEOC, California Labor Code, and all applicable employment laws. Serve as the Human Resources leader during regulatory surveys, audits, and licensing reviews. Oversee compensation strategy, salary administration, market analysis, organizational design, and workforce planning. Lead employee relations, investigations, performance management, leadership coaching, workers' compensation, ADA accommodations, FMLA/CFRA, and leave administration. Drive employee engagement, succession planning, leadership development, retention strategies, and initiatives that improve both the employee and patient experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
