Behavioral Health Technician

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) to join our youth crisis facility. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals facing mental‑health and behavioral challenges, working within a supportive and collaborative environment committed to growth and recovery. Responsibilities Monitor and supervise youth in a crisis setting to ensure safety and well‑being. Cook and serve meals; follow the facility menu as posted. Complete items listed on the facility Chore Sheet as directed by the administrator. Ensure all residents are treated with dignity and respect. Maintain daily chart documentation. Keep the environment safe, clean, and structured. Follow facility policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards at all times. Be familiar with The Wood Group’s policies and procedures, including the employee handbook. Shift Full‑time overnight shift: 7 pm to 7 am (12‑hour rotating schedule). Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be 21 years of age or older. Additional training in mental health or behavioral support preferred. Prior experience working with youth or in a mental health setting is advantageous. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in high‑pressure situations. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others. Basic knowledge of crisis intervention and de‑escalation techniques. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required. Compensation Hourly wage: $16–$16.
