The assignment spans the 2026/2027 academic year and directly supports the SPED - Pure Renewal program, designed to empower students to reach their full potential. Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education or related field
- Experience working in school-based settings with students requiring individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Up-to-date understanding of best practices in special education and current legal compliance standards
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Provide direct instruction and differentiated support in alignment with school curriculum
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and family members
- Track student progress, conduct assessments, and maintain accurate records
- Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and parent conferences
