APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Springdale, AR looking to add an Operator to their already amazing team.  Their primary responsibility will be to safely operate production equipment, handle materials, and produce quality products efficiently while meeting production and customer requirements.  Keep reading for more details!

  What your day will look like:

• Follow all plant safety procedures and wear required PPE while supporting safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Set up and operate production equipment, including panel lines, purlin machines, slitter/recoil systems, standing seam lines, Alpha equipment, and seamer tables.
• Perform role-specific production duties, including panel operation, purlin production, trim/wrap driving, hardware and accessories assembly, coil receiving, and Alpha operations.
• Perform material handling duties, including loading coils, moving raw materials, catching and stacking finished goods, and operating hoists, cranes, and forklifts.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, job packets, and work instructions to ensure accurate production.
• Inspect finished products visually and dimensionally using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Ensure Quality Control procedures are completed at each work center in accordance with QC standards, corrective actions, and customer feedback.
• Monitor equipment and promptly report issues while assisting with basic troubleshooting as needed.
• Cross-train and provide support across multiple production areas as business needs require.
• Train new hires on equipment operation, production procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience operating production equipment, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical or vocational training in manufacturing, machining, or a related field preferred.
• Experience operating hoists, cranes, forklifts, or similar material-handling equipment.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes.
• Work primarily in a manufacturing environment using standard and specialized production equipment.
• Up to 5% travel may be required based on business needs.
• Travel may include company locations, client sites, training, or industry events.
