BESTAFF is hiring a skilled TIG Welder with maintenance technician experience for a top manufacturing partner in Jeffersonville, IN. You’ll lay down clean, precise welds on production parts — and keep the equipment that runs the floor humming. If you like solving problems, switching gears, and getting paid well to do both, this is your seat. What You’ll Do Perform high-quality TIG welds on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel to blueprint and weld-symbol specifications Set up, tune, and troubleshoot welding equipment to maintain consistent quality and minimal downtime Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production machinery Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, tooling, and fixtures to keep the line running Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Partner with production and engineering teams to suggest improvements and reduce scrap Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in line with 5S and OSHA standards What You Bring 2+ years of TIG welding experience on production or fabrication work Industrial maintenance technician experience — mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and equipment schematics Strong troubleshooting mindset and attention to detail Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for the full shift Reliable, team‑oriented, and proud of the work you put your name on Why BESTAFF At BESTAFF, we match great people with great opportunities.
