• 3-5 clinic days per week with a dedicated admin day

• Every 3rd week ED call

• 15-20 patients per day

Job Summary

Provides and leads medical care for an assigned patient population, maintains timely and appropriate documentation, and participates in medical staff duties. Supports utilization and care management processes to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care. Meets production standards and works collaboratively with administration and staff to support strategic and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and document patient care within the assigned specialty.

• Provide inpatient and outpatient medical care.

• Guide nursing staff and care team members.

• Maintain accurate documentation and coding.

• Participate in medical staff meetings, peer reviews, and CME requirements.

• Meet quality and production standards.

• Lead care team huddles and support quality improvement initiatives.

• Promote patient safety and efficient use of resources.

• Educate patients and families on preventive care and chronic disease management.

• Participate in community outreach and scholarly activities as needed.

• Perform duties in accordance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday during clinic hours

• Flexible administrative day

• Every third week on-call with ED oversight

Qualifications

Minimum

• MD or DO from an accredited program

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine

• Eligible for Colorado medical licensure

• BLS and ACLS certification

• Current DEA license

Preferred

• Additional related education and/or experience

• Bilingual preferred
