WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Help customers understand coverage options and recommend solutions that fit their needs
Quote, bind, and service policies (new business, renewals, endorsements, billing questions)
Follow up on leads and renewals by phone/email/text to close sales opportunities
Document all customer interactions accurately in our agency/CRM system
Work closely with the team to resolve issues quickly and deliver a great customer experience

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Strong communication skills and a helpful, professional phone presence
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Customer service and/or sales experience preferred (we will train the right person)
Coachable, goal-oriented, and comfortable asking for the business
Willingness to obtain/maintain required insurance license(s) (we support training)
Licensed (preferred) or able to obtain Vermont insurance license upon hire (required).

LICENSING REQUIREMENT (PAID TRAINING/STUDY TIME):
This role requires a Vermont Property & Casualty insurance license (and/or Life & Health, as applicable). If you’re not currently licensed, we will provide paid study time and training after hire to help you pass the state exam.
